What was tried, and what it cost

Accessibility

An effort log rather than a badge. What was attempted, what it took, what came of it, and the three things still wrong. Anything not listed here was tested and passed.

The log

What was triedWhat it tookWhat came of it
Building every page to work with scripting offdesigning the checks so the site degrades rather than breaksWorks everywhere except the send button, which stays off deliberately. Row 1 below
Making the certainty tier readable without the markprinting the tier in words on every card, row and pageThe visual strip now carries nothing the text does not. Row 3 below
Getting the tables to fold on a narrow screenthree attempts at a stacked layoutFailed. Four and five column tables do not fold usefully, so they scroll. Row 2 below
Keyboard operation across all thirty five pagesa tab-through of every page, twicePasses, with a visible focus ring and a skip link
Contrast on every text and background pairmeasuring rather than eyeballingPasses at AA or better throughout
Image descriptionswriting each one against the finished frame rather than the briefPasses. No filenames, no placeholders
Reduced motionremoving the single animation entirely when the system asksPasses
An independent auditnot commissionedNot done, and this page therefore claims no conformance

The three things still wrong

1. The send button does nothing without scripts. The checks run in the browser and with scripting off there is nothing to check with, so the button stays off rather than sending something unexamined. *Until it is fixed:* those same lines mailed to [bookings@fareveil.com](mailto:bookings@fareveil.com) land in the identical tray, and the form states this at the point of failure. 2. Tables scroll sideways below about 40rem. Three attempts at folding them failed. *Until it is fixed:* every table is accompanied on the same page by the same information as prose or as a label-and-value list. 3. The certainty strip is a visual device. *Already mitigated rather than pending:* the tier is printed in words beside every occurrence, so the strip is decoration and the words carry the meaning.

The same job, three other ways

By telephone
+1 (404) 873-4180, any hour of any day. Say which page. It costs no more this way and nothing is refused
By mail
[revisions@fareveil.com](mailto:revisions@fareveil.com), answered in writing either way
In person
by arrangement at 1447 Peachtree Street NE, Suite 350; it is an office rather than a shop front

Reporting something not listed

Write to [revisions@fareveil.com](mailto:revisions@fareveil.com) give the page, say which browser or reader you were using, and describe what appeared instead of what should have. An answer follows inside five working days and the item joins the log whether or not it has been fixed by then.

State your delivery preference a single time. It goes on the record and shapes every later proposal without being asked for again.

What is outside our control

Whatever paperwork the operators send out. Ours is plain and theirs is their own business. If something lands in a shape that defeats you, say so and it gets read down the telephone or retyped into something usable.
