Terms

Effective August 4, 2026. These terms apply to everyone who reads this site. Using it means accepting them. They are written in ordinary sentences on purpose, and the headings are the obligations rather than a numbering scheme.

Read the site freely

The site is open. There is no account to create, no paywall, no membership and no registration of any kind. You may read anything here, from anywhere, on any device, without asking.

Quote it, with a credit

Short quotations are welcome. Take a sentence or two, name Fareveil, and link to the page you took it from. That is settled permission and needs no email.

Ask before republishing anything whole

Text and photographs on this site belong to Fareveil House LLC and are protected by copyright. Republishing a complete piece, using a photograph in any commercial context, or reproducing material at length needs written permission first.

Permission is often granted for editorial and non commercial use. Write to the desk, say where it would appear and how it would be credited, and you will get a plain answer, usually within two working days. Machine collection of this site's contents for training purposes is not permitted under this paragraph or any other.

Leave the site working

Do not attempt to break into the site, overload it, scrape it at a volume that degrades it for others, probe it for weaknesses, or use it to distribute anything harmful. Do not send anything through the form that you have no right to send, and do not use the contact form for bulk or automated messages.

Reporting a genuine security weakness is the exception and is actively welcome. Send it to [email protected] and it will be met with thanks.

Treat the accounts as a record, not a promise

Every piece here describes a specific morning that happened. It is a record of conditions on that day, at that hour, in that season. It is not a forecast of your morning.

Trails close. Parks change their gates and their hours. Water levels rise. Roads wash out. A place that was quiet at six last October may be fenced this year. Check the current position with whoever runs the place before you rely on anything written here, and use your own judgement on the ground. The independence page covers the safety side of this at greater length and should be read alongside this section.

Understand what is not sold here

Nothing on this site is for sale to readers. There is no shop, no membership, no paid tier, no workshop and no consulting. No payment is ever taken on this site, no payment details are collected anywhere on it, and no page here asks for a card number.

Because nothing is sold, several sections that a commercial site would carry are deliberately absent, and their absence is explained rather than left as a gap:

• Payment terms. None. No transaction ever occurs between a reader and this publication.
• Delivery or shipping. None. Nothing physical or digital is delivered to readers.
• Refunds and returns. None, since there is nothing to refund. If you paid somebody for something after reading this site, your money is with them and their terms govern it.
• Cancellations. None held here. This publication cannot cancel or change anything, because it never holds a booking.

Deal directly with the search service

The front page carries a search panel that hands a route over to Travelpayouts, an outside booking service, and everything from the results onward happens on that service. The arrangement is disclosed in full on the flight search page and again in the independence page.

What matters in these terms is the shape of it. If you search there and go on to book, the contract is between you and that service, or the airline behind it. This publication is not a party to it, does not take your money, does not hold your reservation and cannot change, cancel or refund it. This publication may receive a commission from the service when a booking completes, and what you pay is not affected by that.

Any problem with a booking belongs with whoever holds the booking. That is not an evasion, it is the accurate description of who has your reservation.

Accept the limits of a small publication

The site is provided as it is. Reasonable care goes into everything published, and corrections are made promptly, but no guarantee is offered that the site will be available without interruption, that every detail is current, or that it fits any particular purpose you have in mind.

To the extent the law allows, Fareveil House LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of this site, and total liability for any claim connected with it is limited to one hundred United States dollars. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Some states do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Follow Georgia law if it comes to that

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict of laws rules. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts sitting in Fulton County, Georgia, and both sides accept that those courts may hear it.

Before anyone files anything, write to the desk. Every dispute this publication has had so far was a misunderstanding that a single reply resolved.

Copyright complaints

If you believe material here infringes your copyright, write to [email protected] with the work concerned, the page on this site, your contact details, and a statement that you hold the rights or act for whoever does. Complaints are dealt with quickly, and material is taken down while a genuine claim is looked at.

Expect these terms to change occasionally

When they change, the effective date at the top moves and the current version stands from that date. Continuing to read the site after a change means accepting the revised terms. Nothing in here is applied retroactively to something you did before a change.
