Effective August 4, 2026. Most sites answer this question with a category list. This one answers it with the actual names, because a category list cannot be checked and a name can.

The short version

This site sets one item, in local storage, on every page. It is not a cookie, it never leaves your browser, and it exists so a dismissed card stays dismissed.

The search panel on the front page changes nothing about that. It is this site's own markup, filled in from a list of airports and cities kept on this site, and reading a page that carries it contacts nobody. What changes is pressing the search button, because that leaves for the booking desk, and from there its own storage applies. Never pressing it means the list below has exactly one row in it.

There is no session cookie, no visitor identifier, no analytics identifier, no advertising identifier and no consent identifier beyond that single entry. Blocking it costs you nothing except that the card reappears.

Because those items belong to the service rather than to this site, their names and lifetimes are set by the service and can change without this page changing. What is fixed, and what this publication controls, is that none of it starts until a reader chooses to send a search.

What is not here at all

Named individually, because absence is easier to trust when it is specific.

• No analytics of any kind. No page view counter, no heatmap, no session recorder.
• No advertising pixels, no conversion tags, no retargeting, no tag manager.
• No social network buttons, embeds or trackers.
• No comment system, no live chat widget, no push notification prompt.
• No fonts, images, scripts or stylesheets loaded from any outside company on any page, the front page included. Typefaces, code and the airport list are all served from this site's own domain.
• No fingerprinting, and nothing that attempts to identify a returning reader.

The site is otherwise entirely self contained, which is unusual enough to be worth stating.

Controlling all of it

The card. Press either button and the choice is recorded. Choosing the second button records that too, since recording a preference is the only way to honour it.

Clearing what is set. Every browser can clear site data for a single site from its settings, usually under privacy or site permissions. Clearing it removes the entry above, and the card will appear again on your next visit.

Blocking storage entirely. If local storage is blocked or you browse privately, nothing breaks. The card simply appears each visit, because there is nowhere to record the answer.

Avoiding the search entirely. The panel only acts when its button is pressed. There is no redirect, no pop up and no second window. Leaving it alone means nothing from any outside company is ever contacted.

Why there is a card at all, given how little is stored

A card for a single local storage entry is arguably more than the situation requires. It is there because the alternative, quietly writing to a reader's browser and mentioning it three levels deep in a policy, is the habit this publication is trying not to have.
